Kim Kardashian Goes Topless to Promote New KKW Beauty Makeup
Sex sells, so it’s really to no one’s surprise that Kim Kardashian has chosen to go naked in an attempt to promote her makeup company.
Trying to break the internet again, the 37-year-old took to Instagram Monday night to share a sexy photo of her wearing the newest products from her KKW Beauty line. Unfortunately, no one was really paying attention to her face as she posted a snap of her completely topless and covered in glitter.
The slightly NSFW picture showsthe mom-of-two covering her breasts with one hand as the other holds up her platinum silver ponytail. In a teaser video shared on KKW Beauty’s Instagram, Kim can be seen sitting in the nude with her legs and arms crossed to cover up her ladyparts.
“Ultralight Beams highlighters & glosses launching Dec 1st on KKWBEAUTY.COM,” she captioned the picture.
The product is a nod to husband Kanye West’s song of the same name, which was used in a behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot shared on Kim’s app.
“I loved the holographic vibes we had on set for my Ultra Light Beams campaign shoot, shot by Marcelo Cantu. The Ultra Light Beams collection will be available on Friday, December 1, on KKWBeauty.com,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wrote in a post about the project.
The new makeup collection will feature five loose powder shades with five matching lip glosses: Copper, Bronze, Rose Gold, Iridescent, and Gold.
“These are so perfect for the holidays, especially as a stocking stuffer—they have so much shimmer!” she added.
Love her or hate her, there is no denying that Kim’s venture into the beauty world as been nothing short of an absolute success.
Her first product — the Crème Contour and Highlight Kit — made a whopping $14.4 million in just 10 minutes of its debut. Weeks later, her new line of fragrances sold out within a day, grossing $10 million in sales.
As for her newest foray into highlighters and glosses, the Selfish author has been secretly testing out the products on her famous friends.
The products were first used on models at the Alexander Wang show during New York Fashion Week in September. She later she used it on herself at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles this month.
“It was the most satisfying feeling when friends, makeup artists, everyone was like, ‘What is this lip liner?’” she told People recently. “Lip liners and lipsticks. I’m so excited for them to come out. It’s gonna be so good.”
While fans have yet to get their hands on the new product, glam guru Huda Kattan of Huda Beauty was personally sent a box containing all five highlighters and gloss to test. (Jealous!)
“OMG literally dying over these!!! Thank you @kimkardashian & @kkwbeauty for sending this to me first,” she commented on Instagram. “The colors are UNREAL! Creating looks all week with these pigments, dying over the loose pigments.”
