Governor Okorocha unveiled a road named after Liberian President, Ellen J. Sirleaf
Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, on Thursday unveiled a statue built in honour of visiting Liberian president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
Sirleaf was also conferred with a chieftaincy title by the Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, Samuel Ohiri.
Gorvernor Okorocha on Friday, also unveiled a road named after her.
A statement by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Sam Onwuemeodo, on Tuesday said Mrs. Johnson-Sirleaf’s visit was ‘principally’ to meet students of the Rochas Foundation, especially Liberian students whose parents died of Ebola.
